But the way the heat is transferred into your property varies:

  • Air source heat pumps that use air distribute heat through an air conditioning system, and are often only suitable for providing warm living or working areas.
  • Air source heat pumps that use water can distribute heat through your central heating system, and so can be used to provide warm rooms and heat your water.
